DAILY SCHEDULE
The Eugene Online Academy follows the School District 4J calendar, but classes can be accessed online 24/7 – 7 days a week. Students can submit work at any time.
Staff is available on-site: Mon–Fri, 8:30–3:30
TYPICAL DAY
K-12, daily lessons are asynchronous (not real-time). This means that students can do their work at times that work for them. However, EOA teachers and staff hold Zoom meetings with students throughout the week. These meetings can be related to lessons or are check-ins with students.
Elementary students are given a weekly plan of lessons to complete and are provided instruction in math, language arts, social studies, science, art, PE, and technology. On average, students spend half an hour on each subject each day.
Middle and high school students enroll in 5 classes. Middle and high school students spend one hour per day on overage for each class, and classes must be completed by the end of each term.
