October Edition

October 2, 2026

From the Principal's Office

Teresa Myers, Alternative Education Administrator

Dear Families,
As we move into October, we want to remind our students and families that attendance matters—even in an online school setting. High school moves quickly, and missing live classes or falling behind on coursework can make it more difficult for students to keep up with lessons, assignments, and important learning experiences.
Logging in each day, attending scheduled classes on time, and staying engaged with coursework helps students remain connected, build strong learning habits, and make steady progress toward graduation. We encourage families to talk with their students about the importance of regular attendance, being on time for virtual classes, and taking responsibility for their learning.
If your student is struggling with attendance or keeping up with their online coursework, please reach out to us. We want to partner with families to identify any barriers and provide support to help students get back on track.
Let’s make October a month of logging in, being on time, staying engaged, and moving forward!
Warmly,

Teresa Myers
